The Making Of   Fresh Lemonade

This CD was recorded at my home studio "The Box" during the months of March and April. All of the songs with the exception of Back were written during FAWM.ORG (February Album Writing Month).  The Fresh Lemonade title is a metaphor for my sometimes sour, sometimes sweet life over the last 52 years. Yes, that's 52!  Which is one of the reasons for my raw honesty on this CD.  You will find sincerity, comedy, double meanings, and a small amount of adult language on this recording.  I will be doing my best to explain the meaning of the songs here on this site or on a blog that I will set up soon.  I would love to hear what any one has to say about this CD good or bad! My life is open for discussion!

Jaron Eldon on his 1800s pump organ! We recorded this in his garage on a USB mic directly into my notebook. He played on Exception, Falling, Heaven, and a few that will be on the next CD.

Jaron worked with me on many facets of this recording and has been instrumental (pun) in my production of this CD.
Laying down some guitar tracks with Glades (my 50s Gibson nylon guitar that my grandma Glades gave me)
I recorded most everything on the MXL mic you see here.
Dave Owens playing drums through my weird recording setup using Shawn's Mountain Rythym as a resonator:
Not even done with the drywall yet.
Some of the liquid encouragement I used during the writing process in February. This was given to me by my Northern friends in the Netherlands at `t Kommissiehuys.
